Tamara Freeman

Tamara Freeman has been singing and playing piano since the age of four and wrote her first song at age eight. She found a lot of joy singing in choirs and playing flute and piccolo throughout her school years.

Tamara is a classically trained performer — under the study of Patricia Lee & Wendy Nielsen — with a Bachelor of Music (voice & flute) from Mount Allison University.

Over the years, Tamara has performed in a variety of musical theatre productions, at private/corporate/city events, church & diocesan choirs, and as a featured and background vocalist on the Rebecca Cohn stage. A career highlight was her 6-month tour as co-lead vocalist with the Stadacona Band of the Maritime Forces Atlantic — celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Navy.

All of these experiences and performances have contributed to her musical diversity, and she is now thrilled to be singing with the respected and beloved Camerata Singers.
