Morgandy Levy

Morgandy Levy (she/her) started singing in choirs at age 12 when she joined the Annapolis Valley Honour Choir conducted by Heather Fraser. Growing up in Greenfield Nova Scotia, she has been involved in music throughout middle school and high school where she not only sang in her school choirs but played in her concert band as well on the clarinet.
In 2017 she attended Acadia University where she studied music education and clarinet under Eileen Walsh. During her time at Acadia, Morgandy joined the Acadia University Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Mark Hopkins. She has sung with the Manning Memorial Chapel Choir, The Aeolian Singers, and the Nova Scotia Youth Choir. She has been the Alto section leader for the Nova Scotia Youth Choir for three seasons and attended the Camerata Youth Mentorship Program through the NSYC in 2019. In 2021-2022 she was in the Nova Scotia Choral Federationā€™s project with NSYC called Nutuwiek?
Currently, Morgandy is doing her second Bachelor’s degree at Acadia in English and is still playing Clarinet in the Acadia University Wind Ensemble and is excited to return to Camerata.
