Julia Blundon
Originally from Victoria, British Columbia, Julia (she/her) relocated during the summer of 2023 from Montreal to Halifax. The last few years of her time in Montreal were dedicated to
completing her education and training as a music therapist at Concordia University. She is now finishing her master’s degree, focusing on creating a music therapy program guideline to
address sundowning in persons living with dementia. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in music from Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
For as long as she can remember, Julia has been a member of a choir. Music encompasses not only a significant part of her work as a music therapist and music teacher, but also holds a very special place in her heart. Julia is thrilled to be joining Camerata in her inaugural season as an Alto and is deeply honoured to be part of this vibrant and welcoming community.
