Jessica Sharp

Since joining the Halifax Camerata Singers in 2021, Jessica (she/her) has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the alto section. Music has been a big part of her life and is her passion; she’s been singing since childhood and has been involved in school/community and university musicals throughout her life. Jessica is classically trained in piano (Royal Conservatory of Music) and has also sung with Xara Choral Theatre, and Choirs for Change (Polaris and Eastern Horizon choirs) in the Halifax area over the years. Along with being a singer, Jessica is on the board of directors for Choirs for Change and she is building her career as an environmental scientist, currently working in contaminated sites remediation.
