Sean Pecknold
Hailing originally from Montreal, where he completed a PhD in Physics at McGill University, Sean Pecknold has lived in Halifax since 1996. Sean has been singing in choirs all his life. He joined the Halifax Camerata Singers in 2001, and currently also sings with the Galileo Baroque Choir. Sean works as a defence scientist, specializing in underwater acoustics, and holds a third degree black belt in Shotokai karate. Sean has many fond memories of singing with Camerata, including performing the Larry Nickel Requiem for Peace, and singing with Pro Coro in the inaugural Edmonton International Choral Festival. He particularly enjoys singing bass with his son Robert, also a member of Camerata
