Lisa Annand lives in Maitland with her husband Albert. She received her education at the University of Western Ontario, Mount St. Vincent University, University of Calgary and the Kodàly Institute in Kecskemét, Hungary. Lisa spent her career teaching first music and then classroom at the elementary level. Lisa has sung in the Symphony Nova Scotia Chorus since 2012 and joined Camerata in 2014 after retiring from teaching. She sang in Cantabile Singers in Truro for many years, which she also accompanied for five years. She also sings in the choir at First United Church in Truro. Lisa loves the choice of repertoire in Camerata, the high level of performance to which the choir strives and the camaraderie among its members.
